Top Navigation and Maps Apps on iOS in France, Q2 2025

In the second quarter of 2025, the performance of the top navigation and maps applications on iOS in France showcased interesting trends. According to Sensor Tower, these apps demonstrated varied patterns in downloads and active users.

Google Maps maintained a strong presence with weekly downloads ranging from 52K to 67K. The app also witnessed a gradual increase in weekly active users, climbing from approximately 17.8M to 19M by the end of June.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic showed a steady rise in weekly downloads, peaking at about 55K in the last week of June. Active users also grew consistently from 8.4M to nearly 9.7M over the quarter.

Polarsteps Travel experienced stable weekly downloads, fluctuating between 18K and 26K. The app's active user base saw some variability, ending the quarter at around 253K.

Google Earth displayed a relatively stable download trend, with numbers hovering around 13K to 17K weekly. Active users ranged from 299K to over 387K, indicating a solid user engagement.

Visorando Walking Routes recorded a notable increase in weekly revenue, reaching up to $29.9K. Downloads varied, with a peak of 18K in late April, while active users showed fluctuations, ultimately settling at approximately 216K.
